Here is an interesting article that purports to explain UFOs. The basic idea is that most UFO sightings were related to testing of the SR-71 and other secret Skunkworks projects. I'm sure that is partially correct and may explain the bulk of sightings around Groom Lake and other US testing facilities, but it doesn't explain all the other well-documented sightings around the world, including many reports by governments, militaries and pilots, and many of which were short range visual sightings of objects that in no way resembled any known airplane. But anyway, the article is interesting because it talks about some of the less well-known features and capabilities of the SR-71.
