I've been poking around in the DBpedia, and I'm amazed at the progress. It is definitely one of the coolest (launched) example of the Semantic Web I've seen. It's going to be a truly useful resource to everyone. If you haven't heard of it yet, check it out!
I already knew the W3C LinkingOpenData community but I didn't know they have built such a big RDF database. I should check out the API. It seams that a lot of Wikipedia resources are now RDF formated. This service is still limited but promising, indeed a lot of niche ontologies are missing.
